Tour itinerary
Choosing this tour gives you the extraordinary experience of a trip to both Mini Gobi and steppe!You will experience 8 days on horseback out of 13! It is amazing exactly as it sounds like!
It is a win-win situation where you do not have to choose between different tours to experience both landscapes.
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar
Arrival in Mongolia.
Your English-speaking translator picks you up at Chinggis Khan Airport.
No lunch included.
Visit Gandantegchinlin Monastery and the National Museum of Mongolian History.
Dinner (not included) and overnight at a hotel (2* – twin or triple room).
Day 2: Ulaanbaatar – Bayan Gobi Desert
Breakfast
Departure to the Bayan Gobi Desert with a 4x4 vehicle.
Lunch on the road.
We will meet our equestrian guides for the upcoming 3 days of horse riding in the sand dunes and steppes.
We set up our camp under the open sky in the Bayan Gobi desert.
Dinner and overnight in tents.
Days 3, 4 and 5: Horseback Riding in the Bayan Gobi Desert
We head to the Bayan Gobi Desert on horseback and travel for 3 days.
Riding a horse in the Bayan Gobi desert.
Riding through the area is an exceptionally amazing experience. Riding through the sand dunes is a completely different experience.
This place has a beautiful view where all 3 different landscapes join here: 2 mountain ranges and a Gobi Desert.
On day 4, you can ride a camel. We recommend you try this amazing experience.
On day 5, we arrive at the Uvgun Khiid which is located in the Khugnu Khan cliffs!
Dinner and stay overnight at tent.
Day 6: Bayan Gobi Desert – Horse riding in the Orkhon Valley
Breakfast
We will travel by our 4x4 to the Orkhon Valley, World Heritage Site in Mongolia (4-5 hours on the road).
We visit a nomadic family as well as our equestrian guides and horses, our companions for the upcoming 5 days of travel.
Lunch
You can experience the real Mongolian nomadic family and their everyday life.
Dinner and night in a yurt beside a nomadic family. (4-5 persons per yurt)
Days 7 to 11: The Orkhon Valley Horse Riding Tour
Breakfast
We are now in an area covered with forests and mountains. After being in a Gobi area, this landscape change is one superb thing to see.
Within these 5 days of the
Ending your trip in Erdene Zuu Monastery which is located in Kharkhorin can be the best tour conclusion ever!
Day 12: Kharkhorin – Ulaanbaatar
Breakfast and we leave for Ulaanbaatar early and arrive in the afternoon.
Picnic lunch on the road.
You'll be offered to go shopping with a guide for the rest of the afternoon.
In the evening, you will attend Mongolian traditional shows which cover traditional dances, music, and songs.
We don't include dinner to leave you a wide range of choices of Ulaanbaatar cuisine.
Night at a hotel (2* – twin or triple room).
Day 13: Ulaanbaatar
Transfer to the airport after breakfast.

Groups of 2 or 3 : + 280 € / pers.
A supplement is refunded for all travelers after the 4th traveler is booked.
SINGLE ROOM
+ 150 € / pers. (2 nights in Ulaanbaatar only). This single room supplement applies if you want a single room in Ulaanbaatar.
